A little bit about The Oaks
About With over 40 years’ experience of this amazing area in KZN, as both guest and owner, Cathy Eberle and her husband, Roland, are dedicated to renewing and invigorating the guest experience at The Oaks. The Oaks is a country hotel nestled in an awesome natural setting with rolling gardens and fabulous flowers, enveloped in a heartbeat and ambience which is both unique and welcoming. It is my wish that guests returning here should feel like family and that new guests immediately feel at home.” - Cathy The focus is on a magical holistic experience, instilling in guests a sense of fulfilment at making enduring memories as well as stirring the desire to come ‘home’ to us. Interested in community outreach projects in our beautiful Byrne Valley, which include supporting our local Illovo Nek school, we are excited to display for sale the work of the many talented crafters in our area in our small shop. We realise that, as a community who stand together, we will be stronger and better positioned to share the treasure of our valley with visitors.
